In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, two cups of mozzarella cheese and parmesan. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and beginning to become translucent, about 8 minutes. 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.

Lightly grease a large casserole dish and begin layering your lasagna. Pour about 1 cup of the sauce on bottom of 9x13 pan.
